Senior ActiLeaders Project
1. Presentation of the Partners of Aylmer Sector
The Partners of Aylmer Sector consortium collaborates with various organizations in the Aylmer sector of the City of Gatineau. Partner organizations mainly come from the public, semi-public, associative, and community spheres. The mission of Aylmer Sector Partners is to support the creation and synergy of environments conducive to a healthy lifestyle and optimal development of the population and communities in the Aylmer sector. To achieve this, the organization conducts various activities and forms committees in the following areas:
– Food security and healthy eating.
– Physically active lifestyle/active transportation or movement ;
– Early childhood;
– Academic perseverance and combating school dropout;
– Adolescent prevention;
– Sustainable development and eco-citizenship.
2. Presentation of the Senior ActiLeaders Project
The overall objective of the Senior ActiLeaders project is to enhance the leadership skills of young adolescents to engage them in community work. Specific objectives include (1) providing comprehensive support to young adolescents to develop their leadership potential and (2) assisting them in becoming facilitators for their peers by providing necessary tools. This project specifically aims to offer a co-management program for physical, sports, recreational activities, and community engagement aligned with the mission of Aylmer Sector Partners. The project will target secondary school students aged between 14 to 17 who are willing to engage in community development in the Aylmer sector, with the following outcomes:
– Outcome 1.1: Creation of a network of Senior ActiLeaders;
– Outcome 2.1: Support for young audiences in daycare, school, and the community;
– Outcome 2.2: Support for partners and the community.
3. Objectives of the Call for Proposal – Visual Identity
The objective of this call for service proposal is to design a visual identity and graphic charter for the Senior ActiLeaders project, aligned with Partners of Aylmer Sector graphic charter. The aim of this call is to create a brand identity that embodies the project’s values and modes of action to ensure consistency across all project elements (print and digital) and give it visibility.
The objectives are to:
– Affirm the project’s positioning;
– Enhance the project’s image and projected values.
4. Expected Results
– A visual identity for the ActiLeaders Senior project is developed and designed.
– A graphic charter for the ActiLeaders Senior project is designed.
– Adaptations for all project communication materials are feasible.
5. Requested Services
The service provider will create the elements of the visual identity to be adapted for all communication materials of the Senior ActiLeaders project. Three visual identity proposals for the project will be developed, ranked in order of preference, with justification based on the elements of this call.
– Creation of visual identity.
– Creation of an animated logo for digital use.
– Creation of the graphic charter (print and digital).
– Creation of two 2D videos – maximum 2 minutes each – script, editing, and animation (in French and subtitled in English):
– A video for the project presentation;
– A promotional video on the activities and results of the project (closing phase).
The challenge is to have an image in line with the mission of Aylmer Sector Partners and the values carried by the project, recognizable by the target audience and stakeholders.
6. Creation of Visual Identity
a. Expected Objectives
The program is planned for an initial duration of 12 months with the possibility of extension over several years. The logo should, therefore, withstand the years, emphasizing simplicity. The name should be easily understandable and identifiable at first glance. It should be applicable to various communication materials in small and large formats.
b. Graphic Charter
A graphic project is developed based on the visual identity indications mentioned above. The service provider will provide usable versions of this charter in vector and JPG formats, applicable to different print and digital media.
The spirit of creating the graphic charter is to present essential elements for applying the visual identity of the project, ensuring consistency across different products, communication tools, and program deliverables. It should propose a layout suitable for both internal and external use.

7. Credits and Copyright
The service provider will transfer the copyright to the Partners of Aylmer Sector (PSA) for the logo, becoming the exclusive property of the PSA. The PSA will also own the source files provided by the service provider.
8. Monitoring
The design and development of these elements will involve consultations and exchanges with the Partners of Aylmer Sector. Validation of deliverables will be done by the PSA. The service provider is bound by confidentiality and must not publish or disclose any information learned during this contract to unauthorized persons without prior written consent.
9. How to Apply?
Interested service providers are invited to submit a comprehensive proposal covering both technical and financial aspects related to the required deliverables. The proposal should detail the following:
– Technical proposal: A technical offer indicating the methodology for the service provision’s realization.
– Portfolio: Examples of similar services.
– Financial proposal.

10. Offer Selection Procedure
Offers will be processed and selected based on the budget allocated to this mission by the project and efficiency criteria related to technical and financial offers, following evaluation criteria.
